In CLI class we often use the phrase 'in service to yourself', and often its a student's first time hearing it.
When we are in a cycle of fear and blame we are putting something or someone other than ourselves at the centre of our lives. When other things are at the centre we are making them responsible for how we feel, and count on them to show us. This is being in service to others. When we are rooted in this circle and system of beliefs, doing something for ourselves feels selfish. Putting someone else first becomes selfless. But both of these actions are still done out of fear. (In our CLI manual, which will soon be available as a free ebook, we have a diagram that illustrates this).
When we put ourselves back in the centre of the circle and become in service to ourselves we no longer blame outwardly. In this place we know we are the universe unfolding.
